About Me

From a young age, my two consistent passions have been numbers and sports. So much so that during my pre-teen years, my dad nicknamed me “Stat Man” after a particularly nasty phase of offering unsolicited sports statistics. I still remember countless early mornings watching SportsCenter not just once, but three times in a row, absorbing every statistic and replay.
Over the past decade, I've navigated through what I fondly refer to as "corporate analytics," holding various roles at leading organizations like Deloitte, Cigna, Salesforce, and most recently, the Pittsburgh Pirates. Alongside my professional journey, I've completed what some may consider excessive academic pursuits, including the Harvard Business Analytics Program, an MBA through the University of Texas, and an undergraduate degree at The University of Akron. I’m incredibly grateful for these experiences and consider my career thus far a resounding success.
I'm now starting a new chapter, and I’m excited to merge my lifelong passions through Golden Boot Data. This new venture is designed to:
-
Cultivate a community of NFL, NBA, and MLB enthusiasts.
-
Showcase my data visualization skills, enhancing the visibility of my work.
-
Seek consulting roles that leverage my expertise in data visualization.
-
Pursue full-time opportunities within the sports industry, including professional teams, fantasy sports platforms, daily fantasy sports, sports gambling, and/or scouting.
If you're intrigued by any of these ambitions, please connect with me via Twitter (@GoldenBootData) or through the contact form below. Let’s explore what we can achieve together with automated data visualizations and insights.
